The old man looked around before just staring at Sylvie. "You're a very rude little girl, you don't know what you're talking about. Loraina was my daughter, I knew her best. But I'll leave..." The old man said, stepping down from the podium.
"She might've been your daughter, but as someone who's met the children she's brought up, you're clearly mistaken, sir, so very mistaken." Sylvie tacked on with quivering lips, both the morose air due to the funeral in general and the frustration aimed at Lorain's father getting to her.
