Angel followed close behind, fidgeting with her hands as she walked at his heels, looking around herself curiously.

Darrin opened up the front door and stepped aside to let Angel in ahead of himself.

"You can go ahead and make yourself comfortable and I'll go put the tacos in teh kitchen. I'll be back in a minute to show you up to the bathroom and get you clothes from my sister." He said as he sauntered off towards the kitchen. "Kaylah, I'm home!" He called out to inform his younger sister.

Darrin went ahead and tucked the tacos into the fridge before coming back into the living room where he found Angel.

"Lets go ahead and go upstairs." He said with a nod.

“You won’t get in trouble for me being here, will you?” Angel asked.

Angel jogged up after him, her head still turning all around to observe.

The wall beside the stairs had pictures of Darrin and his family along with some old pieces of art from when he and his sisters were just kids.

Darrin turned to the left upon reaching the upstairs hallway and began towards teh bathroom.

"Its small, but it works." He said, opening up the door for Angel. The towels are in the cabinet closest to the shower and feel free to use any of the shampoo and body wash. I'm going to go snag some clothes so be right back." Darrin said, pointing here and there before turning on his heel towrads his sisters rooms. He knocked on one door to have it answered by his sleepy eyed sister. "I need some clothes, now." He nodded.

She blinked and furrowed her brows, making a face.

"So...you're coming out to me or somethining?" She asked, somewhat confused.

"No, guest, dirty, we need clothes." He nodded before stepping in passed her and going ahead and making himself welcome to hre closet.

While waiting for Darrin to return, Angel went ahead and got a towel out and turned on the water to adjust it to the perfect temperature.

Darren had managed to swipe himself a pair of his sisters pajama shorts and a tank top before he took off back to the bathroom with the clean clothes. He knocked on the door frame before stepping in and setting the clothes on the counter.

"Here's the clothes and...well you know the rest." Darrin smiled. "My room is the second door on the left down this hall. I'll leave my door open so you can get me whenever you're done and we can get you settled in." He nodded before stepping back out of the bathroom.

“Alright, thank you.” Angel said over her shoulder before turning and nodding at Darrin, than shutting the door.

Thus stripping down and slipping into a hot shower for the first time in forever, and she stayed in until the water ran cold. She than emerged from the steamy shower and dried and changed. Bursting into a quiet fit of laughter when she saw herself in the mirror, she looked like a different girl. Granted she was still cut up, but all the dirt was washed away and she looked happy and rejuvenated. After giggling and smiling into the mirror, she stepped out and walked down to Darrin’s room, knocking on the door.

Darrin was laying on his bed with a copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone when he glanced up and saw Angel, spick and span. His eyes lit up and he instantly sat up.

"Would you look at you! You look like a new person." Darrin laughed a little as he eyed over her. He got up and headed her way. He took note of some of her scrapes. "Did you need anything for the cuts? Some bandaids or something?"

“Ah no, most of them are already scabbed over.” Angel said, looking over her arms to observe herself. She frowned slightly, never realizing how scuffed up she was. But hey, she was clean.

"Alright, so did you still want that rest? I can pull out the bed spread now if you want or you could even chill out on my bed. Whichever you'd prefer." Darrin nodded.

“Please, if you wouldn’t mind. That would finish off a perfect night.” Angel said with a smile. She was actually kind of excited, she wasn’t sure if she could get to sleep. But that would be the icing on the cake.
