"Yeah, of course. I'll get you a drink, a quick bite and...yeah, that's fine." Darrin nodded, taking a step back towards the side of the building. He pointed at her, eyebrows arched. "You'll be here when I get back, right?" He asked, still stepping back.

Angel nodded innocently, with honestly no intentions of running away.

“Promise.” She said after nodding, without choking.

"Alright, I'll be back." Darrin said, hurrying to the side door where he quickly ran in and did a quick line jump, cutting in front of several people, who of course didn't say much upon realizing with a glance who he was.

The girl at the register forced a smile and licked her lips nervously, part of her wondering if the boy was going to rob her.

"Uh, yeah, hi. I need like...two boxes of tacos and a large drink on the double." Darrin said, leaning back on his heals with a pop of his lips, much like a kid.

"Of course...ah...that'll be fifteen seventy-six, sir." The girl uttered.

Darrin quickly dropped a twenty and reached out for his change which he promptly recieved he said a quick thank you and grabbed the cup the girl offered up before hurrying over to the drink machine to fill it up with water. It was only a few minutes before his order was up and he promptly grabbed the bagged tacos and bolted for the door, hoping that Angel was still in the back.

Angel was still around back, leaning against the back wall and fidgeting with her hands as she always did.

Darrin peaked around back and smiled some when he saw the girl was still there. He walked over towards his car and nodded over towards her, beck and calling her over.

"C'mon over here and I can give you your drink and some complementary food." He said.

Angel now was hesitant, she didn’t really like the idea of having to walk over to his car to eat, that seemed like a trap kind of. She scuffed at the ground and inched closer, thinking about, of course it was a bad idea. But she was really hungry, and she couldn’t remember the last time she had a good meal. She whimpered at the confliction going on inside of her between her brain and her stomach.

"Come on over, promise nothing's wrong with it." Darrin said, going ahead and opening up a bag and pulling out a taco for himself and another for her. He offered it towards her and watched her intently as he took a bite of his own.

Angel whimpered again and fidgeted before giving her brain the ‘Eff you button’ and gave in to her stomach. She ran over to him as though she was starving, and she was to an extent. But hesitantly still she reached out for the taco and gingerly taking it in her wounded hands.

“Th-thank you…” She nodded at him, waiting anxiously to dig into the taco. As hungry as she was, Angel felt as though she had to be told to eat. Like she shouldn’t have this privilege.

"You're very welcome. You can have as many as you want." Darrin smiled at how pleased she looked to an extent. He was glad he could do something for her. "And your drink is right here." He said, turning to grab the cup off the hood of his car and offering it out to Angel.

Angel reached out and took it, the cup shaking with her hands as she didn’t wait any longer to dive into her taco, taking the biggest bite she could manage. She smiled widely as she chewed and swallowed, but before she could take another bite, her eyes watered over and she started to snivel.

Darrin was in the midst of eating his own taco when he glanced over to see Angel's tears pricking at her eyes.

"Hey...you okay?" He asked, brows furrowed.

Angel sniffed and wiped at her eyes, whimpering.

“I’m just-…I’m happy,” She cried with a smile. “Thank you so much.” She cried.

Darrin smiled a little and wanted to reach over and give Angel a pat to the head, but knew she was skittish so instead lowered his hand.

"You're very welcome." He said, smiling still. "I'm Darrin, by the by, if that means anything to you." He said, looking over and suddenly felt the want to dry her tears all up.

“My name…” She coughed before taking a drink to clear her throat up. “Is Azriel, but everyone just calls me Angel.” She said clearly for the first time tonight before taking another big bite into her taco.

"Well, its a pleasure to meet you, Angel." Darrin nodded grinning. "Mind telling me what you were doing in the dumpster?" He asked, reaching into the bag to grab another taco for himself.
