If you buy a replacement bulb you could be able to swamp it out with little effort. The bulb would be mounted in a plastic housing. Do not remove it from the housing, just replace the whole thing. When you swamp out the new one, make sure you doesn't touch the actual bulb, as that could ruin it, use the plastic mounting to put it in.
