Angel sniffed and whimpered as she wiped at her eyes in Darrin’s arms. In on swift and brute shove, all her anger and sorrows were unloaded. She trembled as she rubbed her eyes, sorry that everyone saw her break and sorry that now she was going to feel remorseful and cry about it. Whitney stilly looked up at Angel and hadn’t moved for a moment, just watching her cry now. But she finally got off the floor, brushed her self off and slid her coat back on.
“I’m sorry I came over, Azriel. I’ll leave now.” Whitney said quietly, she wanted to apologize but in her mind it still didn’t seem probable that her ex husband was a molesting their own daughter. She was not remorseful for anything except coming to this house. The accusation that she let something so sick go on under her nose was not possible in her mind. So without another word she walked herself out and slipped off into the night. And as soon as the door shut behind Whitney, Angel burst into heavy sobs and funny whimpers that translated into a thousand apologies.
Darrin pressed his lips against the top of Angel's head and wrapped his arms even tighter around her shoulders as he held her to his chest. He lightly rocked them and cooed to her while Jacob went ahead and excused himself (what with not being a 'touchy feely' sort of guy). Hannah, however, reached up and ran a hand through her hair to lightly tussle out her waves before stepping over in front of Angel. She hunched over a bit and placed her hands on Angel's cheeks, stroking away her tears.
"Its alright, Angel, its okay." Hannah joined in with the cooing as she continued to stroke at Angel's cheeks. "You're alright, we're all alright, so no more tears, its all gonna be okay." She assured before standing upright and pecking a motherly kiss to Angel's forehead.

“I’m still sorry!” Angel sobbed, wiping the remaining tears from her eyes as she now had the hiccups from crying so hysterically. “I-I disrespected y-your home a-an a-and you, I –hic- sh-shouldn’t have told he-er to leave –hic- I-I’m s-sorry.” Angel whimpered.

Angel continued to hiccup as her crying ceased but her eyes were still glossed over; when she had shoved Whitney they were a hard steely grey, now they were a deep and soft green, mossy almost. Her cheeks were rosy and her hair was somewhat tussled; it was kind of cute that she always had this fragile and child air about her, especially when she was upset.
"That's better." Hannah smiled as she pulled her hands from Angel's face. "I'm going to finish up dinner now, alright? Why don't you go relax until I call you, hmm?" She suggested.
Darrin moved to look down at Angel. "We can go lay back down?" He said with a nod.
Darrin was shuffling about the dining room table with little Aerwyn in one arm, and several long, skinny candles in his free hand. He was trying to get the candles set up in the center of the table, which was overall romantically decorated with rose petals and even the finer cutlery and plates his mother owned. He'd gone all out with the set up, as he wanted tonight to be absolutely perfect.
It had been two months since Angel had given birth to Aerwyn and since then Darrin had turned himself around completely. He'd officially given up the drug trade and moreover had completely cut all ties with Luca's gang, once and for all. Luca was understanding, of course, but it also couldn't be denied that Darrin's talent would be sorely missed. It wasn't long after Darrin had left that he'd found work at a local auto mechanic's shop, where he did menial work in the garage as an apprentice of sorts. He worked mostly after school, on the weekends, and worked through most of the breaks he had from school, and came home early evening to his little family. He'd told Angel here and there that the most rewarding thing in life for him was coming home to her and their daughter and he knew that she believed him and what not, but he'd still wanted to prove it to her somehow, hence his little dinner plan for the evening.
He'd gotten his sisters to take Angel out for the afternoon and he'd asked his parents if he could have the house for the evening, telling them of his plans for the evening, to which their response was to leave immediately, giving their son the time and space that was needed to PREPARE for his plans; for the proposal.
Darrin had saved a spot of cash here and there and had finally saved up enough money to buy a ring. Although it wasn't nearly as impressive as Darrin would have liked, he knew Angel would love it, even if it were just for the novelty value. He was sure that she'd be just as happy as him just for the proposal aspect of the whole idea. He was sure she'd be happy that he was able to finally prove how much he loved her, how rewarding it really was to come home to her, so on and so forth.
"And you're going to be a good girl tonight, yeah? Let your momma eat without crying and let your dad give her the ring, right?" Darrin cooed to Aerwyn as she grunted in his grasp. He'd just gotten the candles set up when he glanced down at his watch to see the time. He was sure his sisters would be back soon to dump off Angel before they went on their merry way, leaving the two love-doves alone for the evening. Darrin smiled and began to rush himself to finish. He'd gone ahead and dragged in Aerwyn's swing, where he laid her down and promptly hid the ring in it's box in the swing with his and Angel's daughter. He scurried off for the counter then, and grabbed up the large box of Taco Bell tacos he'd purchased for dinner not too long after his parents had left, setting the box onto the table near the extravagant centerpiece on the table (roflcopter).

Darrin's sisters had gotten Angel all done up and took her out after work. She wasn't sure why, the doll up part more or less. It was fine and enjoyable to go out with Darrin's sisters, but typically then Angel came home from work her face is as is for the rest of the evening. But the girls wouldn't allow it, they dressed her up and made her look radiant but still same old natural beauty, Angel. They had been out for awhile, not doing anything in particular or special. But finally they had dropped Angel off and said they had other errands to run and that they would see her later.
Angel paused and looked at her ripply reflection in a puddle. Her hair was still in it's half up, half down pony tail. Her face was as is besides some mascara and lip gloss. She was wearing a white v neck t shirt and straight leg blue jeans and a leather jacket. Angel was looking pretty spiffy. So she nodded and brushed herself off before letting herself in the house.
Darrin was in the middle of lighting the candles when he heard Angel. His face instantly lit up and he finished lighting up all the candles and checked Aerwyn, who was contently cooing to herself, before stepping out of the kitchen and into the main room to greet Angel. He went to dramatically throw his hands up and greet Angel, but found himself frozen, taken aback by Angel's radiance.
"Well...welcome home." He said, his cheeks warming up a bit as his lips turned up into a large grin of adoration. "Wow...you look just...gorgeous." He said, stepping forward over to Angel.

"Oh, m-me? Oh gosh no, I mean-I look alright-yeah, sure-I guess." Angel puttered when she saw the way Darrin approached her. Her looked down and fidgeted with her fingers as her cheeks turned a rosy color to match her lips.
Darrin gave a light airy laugh and reached down to grab up Angel's hands. He lightly pecked at her knuckles before proceeding to peck at Angel's cheek and then her lips.
"You look GREAT." He smiled, giving her hands a light squeeze.
Aerwyn let out a high pitched squeal and a laugh from the kitchen to which Darrin responded with a laugh as he looked over his shoulder. He looked back to Angel before lightly tugging on her hands.
"Me and Aerwyn have got a surprise for you in the kitchen. We've been working all afternoon on it. Well, mostly me, but Aerwyn was good support." Darrin said as he began leading Angel towards the kitchen.
As soon as they entered the kitchen area, Darrin gestured to the table's set up with a wide, proud grin.
"I thought it'd be nice to have dinner, just me, you, and the baby." Darrin said as he stepped over the table, where he reached down to grab the Taco Bell box of tacos. "I even got your 'favorite'."

Angel bit back a dopey grin, the kind she often got when he first brought her home and did nice things for her. She observed the set up and let out a hushed aw/oh.
"Darrin, this is wonderful..." She cooed stepping over to him, pecking him on the cheek.
"I thought you'd like it." Darrin smiled as he set down the box of tacos. He wrapped his arms around Angel's shoulders for a brief hug. He pecked at her lips and smiled before stepping back to gesture to the table. "Why don't you take a seat? Must be exhausted from work and from my sisters dragging you around." He said.
