Probably not the first offense. I was in a business that employed 600 drivers and the points they accumulated had a effect on the insurance we paid to cover them and they were spoken to. They type of offence was of great interest to the HR people. Losing points for "dangerous driving or running a red light for example were look on harsher than a speeding ticket for a couple of mph over the limit.You are driving and not paying a attention, you hit a pregnant woman walking her two girls across the road while on a pedestrian crossing. You kill a whole family, how can you live with yourself after that? Pay attention or hand your licence in.
