"Yeah, but we're careful. We don't even mess with the big kahunas around here." Haze nodded firmly. He glanced over to Franky.

“Keep it that way.” Franky said sternly, remembering that they didn’t either really. Not unless Sydney was sure of their capabilities or if there was another gang who was on their side. But TJ thought he was so tough, that he would be fine with just him and Rena…Franky thought bitterly.

"I'm sure we will." Haze said, rather sure of his statement. Luca always put the group's safety first and if something looked like it would be too rough in the long run, he wouldn't risk it.

It wasn’t long until Franky pulled into the parking lot of The Second Chance bar&grill. He put the car in park before unbuckling and getting out, locking his door.

“Lock your door.” Franky said before taking a few steps, then pausing and waiting for Haze to catch up.

Haze came tumbling out of the car, eager to go in and eat, and quickly locked the door before rejoining Franky's side, grinning through and through.

Franky side glanced at Haze and just grinned as they entered the establishment. Franky didn’t wait for a waitress as he went ahead and turned and took a booth in the very back. The waitress, not expecting him to help himself, shook off her surprise and quickly jogged over to them with menus.

“Hey there,” She said quickly, laying out the menus for them, seemingly flustered and swamped. “What can I get you? Drinks first or do you know what you want already…or?” She tried.

“Coffee, black for me.” Franky nodded.

"Water, just water." Haze answered, taking up a menu to glance over it.

“Alright, I’ll be right back with your drinks.” She smiled before skipping away nervously.

Franky glanced down at the menu; he wasn’t really feeling all that hungry himself. Not anymore at least. Remembering the end of BB made him loose his appetite. Especially his best friend, Sydney all wedged under a diesel truck and his precious bike in pieces.

“Order it then, get whatever you want.” Franky offered kindly with a slight shrug. There was something about this kid, maybe it was the sole fact he was in a gang, or maybe it was his position. But something about Haze reminded Franky of himself, or there was just simply a line of chemistry. For some reason Franky felt close, and urged to spoil the kid.

"Alright, thank you much." Haze grinned. Of course he wasn't going to order 'whatever he wanted'. If he wanted to order THAT he'd order EVERYTHING on the damn menu, but he was raised in a courteous home and was just gracious for what Franky was giving him.

The waitress scuttled back with Franky’s coffee and Haze’s water, than she flipped back out her note pad and pen once again.

“Okay, so do you all know what you would like?” She asked.

“I don’t want anything else; the coffee is enough for me.” He nodded, taking a quick swig after blowing.

"Just a burger and some fries with ranch on the side." Haze smiled up to the waitress, a smile of childish innocence almost.

“Okay, I’ll go get that ready for you.” She smiled and nodded before heading off again.

“So, Haze, got any interesting war stories?” Franky asked, not meaning gang war, or war really at all. Just anything shenanigans worth sharing for a laugh in pertinence to the group.
