"I see...well...huh, I juts can't seem to put a finger on it the-" Darrin came to an abrupt halt in his sentence as he listened to Zeke's statement in his head one more time. If he recalled right Angel had mentioned an Annabel and a twin BROTHER once upon a time. HIs eyes grew wide and he stared on at Zeke.

Lightbulb.

He lurched forward and grabbed Zeke by the shoulders, yanking up towards him and pressed their foreheads together in an exaggerated way.

"YOU! Is your twin sister's name Angel?" He asked frantically.

Zeke’s eyes grew equally wide in surprise which right then, he and Angel had the same eyes. Which helped.

“Yes? Azriel actually, but everyone called her Angel. Why?” Zeke asked. Then his expression changed and it was clear he was catching on. He grabbed on to Darrin’s shoulders and pressed his forehead back.

“Why? Have you seen her? Do you know where she is?” Zeke asked, practically yelling.

"Yes! I do, I do! She's actually at my place right now!" Darrin returned the shouts with a vigorous nod.

Zeke let out an excited and enthused yell.

“Take me to her!”

"Of course! Of course!" Darrin shouted back, a beam spreading across his face. He'd somehow managed to find Angel's long lost brother, he could only imagine how happy she'd be to see him.

"Well, she WAS homeless," Darrin began as led Zeke towards the car, "but I took her home with me a few weeks ago and she's been doing well. She's gained a healthy amount of weight, so she's eating very well." He explained as he went ahead and slipped into the driver's side of the car.

“Oh my gosh,” Zeke said with a sigh of relief before starting up again. “Wait, homeless? She WAS living with our Dad.” He said.

"Well, I think that THAT explanation is something you'd better hear from her." Darrin said, leaning over to shove off all of this things from teh passenger's seat. He forced the door open to allow Zeke inside.

“…It’s something bad…I already know it…I fucking know it.” Zeke started shaking his head before sitting down and buckling up. He started cussing under his breath, as though he already knew what it was.

"Yeah, but she'll explain. You'll have to be gentle with her, but she WILL tell you in due time." Darrin explained as he started up the car, going ahead and pulling out o fhis spot.

Zeke shook his knee and fidgeted with his hands nervously, it was beginning to show that he was Angel’s brother. His now nervous and anxious behavior.

“Wait, what’s your name anyways?” Zeke asked.

"I'm Darrin. Darrin Remfield." Darrin introduced him curtly as he sped down the main road in Fort Morgan.
