Haze paused and pursed his lips.

Like a lot of the kids in Fort Morgan, he hadn't really thought about THAT question. As ambitious as he was in school and other activities, he never thought about his future, mostly because, well, he didn't expect to have one. He never expected to live passed like his twenties, especially in his business.

"I don't know, haven't thought about it." Haze answered honestly.

"Not really, I just wanted to be someone who could make my mom happy and could provide for her. I used to say I was going to be a doctor, I guess. Because I think that's a worthwhile sort of thing, and it'd make my mom proud." Haze nodded, thinking back to his younger years.

"Well...I really like baseball." Haze admitted, biting at his lip to hold back a broad grin. "I'm a really good batter and I like playing short-stop." He poked at the rice and thought back to some of his better moments in a game.

Haze instnatly turned to Franky, eyes lit up.

"You'd come do that?" He asked, excited. He'd never had a male figure in his life, except for the brief stints in time where his mother tried dating. Even then though, he never really looked up to those men. So, to have Franky want to come watch him was almost like having a parental figure coming to some big sportings event for him.

"Of course, unless of course you'd rather I didn't." Franky said with a kind smile. He wished he would have had a kid of his own to go see their names, but quickly without much effort, Franky was in his own light adopting Haze emotionally.

Franky smiled over at Haze before looking back to the food.

"You know, he probably wasn't a favorite but TJ was really into baseball." He mentioned.

"Was he good?" Haze asked, interested. Anything pertaining to BB was interesting to him.
